Honeycomb

December 28, 2003

Done!  The finished product is 54" by 56".  I used 18 skeins of TLC Ultra Soft. 8 of them were Grey Heather (5015) and 11 of them were Jewel (5989).

This is not my favorite at all.  It was not that much fun to knit and I'm not that happy with the finished project.  Oh well!  Hopefully, someone will find it warm and snuggly and maybe even like the weird colors!

Still chugging along...   It's now 43 inches long.  I'm going to keep at it until I run out of yarn which I'm thinking is going to be in another 8 or 9 inches.  It's very heavy which feels good when working on it these chilly nights.

This is not my all time favorite afghan and, wouldn't you know it, it's the one I finally got big enough.  I'll be working on it for a while - at least until the yarn runs out.  The good news is that it is heavy and since it's pretty chilly out, the heavy feels nice on my lap.

This is coming along pretty nicely.  It's right at 58" wide so I think I finally have one big enough to suit me.  I don't have enough yarn to finish it but my favorite yarn shop is having a 'free shipping' special so I've ordered enough to finish it off.

This will be a new afghan.  It's the same pattern as the honeycomb one I did before.  This time I'm using a bigger yarn (same size needles) and 318 stitches.  It feels like it's going to be too big but I'm tired of making them too small!
