November 17, 2003 Finished. And I love it. I used 12.5 skeins - color sage 2611. The pattern is Classic Diamonds out of one of my books. I used 224 stitches (repeats of 24 +8). Finished product is 44"x55". Note to self: Next time, a good stitch count would be 272 (11 diamonds across). |

November 14, 2003 It's now about 40" long by about 45" wide. Once again, I wish I had made it wider... when will I learn?! But, this a really nice pattern and I'm sure I'll make it again... wider. As it is, I think I can add about another 15 inches or maybe a bit more without it looking too out of proportion.

November 6, 2003 This is turning out to be a nice afghan to knit and a nice looking one, too. The pattern has just enough complexity to keep me interested but isn't so complicated that I can't watch TV or do other stuff while I knit it. |

November 1, 2003 This is a pattern from one of my books. It is for a thicker yarn and bigger needles so I just added repeats of the diamond pattern. I hope I added enough. Size 6 needles - Caron Simply Soft yarn.
