My Summer of Sox

It is way too hot to knit afghans in the Summertime so I knit socks instead.  These are the socks of 2004.

They all use the same pattern and the details on a couple are below.

Toe up, 2 circular needle Sox

Pattern:  One I cobbled together from several

Stitches:  cast on 4 and worked both sides for 8.
Then increased 4 stitches every row til 24.
Then increased 4 stitches every other row til 52.

Needles:  #2 but this time I used the back end of
of an H crochet hook to serve as the right hand
bind off needle.

Yarn:  Bernat Sox yarn. 1.75 oz/203 yards
Lime Hot and Aqua Hot
1 skein each color, used all but about 15% of each.

Knitted:  June 16 - June 27

Toe up, 2 circular needle Sox

Pattern:  One I cobbled together from several

Stitches:  cast on 4 and worked both sides for 8.
Then increased 4 stitches every row til 24.
Then increased 4 stitches every other row til 48.

Needles:  #2

Yarn:  I have no idea!  I found two balls of it in the closet.
It's probably washable wool.

Knitted:  June 9 - June 16

Note:  Finished but turns out even thought I did the
bind off at the top of the sock, very loosely,

it wasn't nearly loose enough.
